Lets play dress up...

First week into the married life, and we are both swamped with projects and
I have been feeling under the weather.
But, I am still trying to do the wife-y things... ie make dinner!
So, here is an easy dressed up Mac'n'cheese Recipe:
(hehe)
I got some jalapeno potato chips and crushed them up!

As I boiled the mac'n'cheese, I  diced some white onion and opened a can of green chili peppers.
Made the mac'n'cheese and stirred in the green chilis, and onions.
Transfered the mac'n'cheese into a baking tin.

Added the crushed potato chips and added some grated extra sharp cheddar cheese on top.
Served with Jalapeno Butter Toast!
Easy as 1,2,3!

I did my weekly grocery shopping trip earlier today, and I needed salsa.
I could not believe the prices! $3.00 for Pace a 12 oz jar, generic $2.99 for 14 oz.
No way living in Arizona was going to pay that much for jarred salsa.
But, I also knew I did not have the time to make homemade.
And my food processor is on the fritz. So, I picked up some cheap canned salsa.
I had pepperoncinis, onion, jarred bell peppers, and some chili pepper flakes at home.

In 15 minutes I whipped up almost 4 times as much salsa as I would have gotten in the jar!
Way to be a frugalista!

Olive Oil is a great eye makeup remover. Way better than spending a couple bucks on eye makeup remover. It is very moisturizing, full of antioxidants, and vitamins, and smooths skins.

As you hopefully noticed I posted some more recipe cards the other day. This is an example
of what I did with one. I drew an illustration on it! Inspo!

Tonight is a night of cleaning up. I have been way too unorganized.
First way to start- scrub my face away. I was looking at my usual "me" night
facial regimes. Tonight deserved something different. So, I looked through my pantry and I saw yogurt and cream of wheat and came across this recipe: Facials
It was absolutely magnificent!
Cream of wheat, honey, mint, yogurt- so refreshing.

The picture above is what I use to make a very basic guac. But, last night I switched things up and added a little Valentina (spice things up), some green chili, and corn. It was delicious!

Never forget! It does work!
