Makeshift DIY puppy pack/dog backpack!
Puppy packs are GREAT for dogs. Especially overly energetic, herding breeds, working breeds.
It gives a normal walk a purpose, gives the dog a job or goal. It is not abusive, or a mean. Great for training dogs how to walk.
A lot of dogs love them! At first start with just the pack with a couple treats.
Reward them for their hard work.
Once they are used to it and know what its intention is, add more weight. Remember, no more then 25-30% of their weight. Here in Arizona, especially this time of year, it is hot. I put to ice bags on either side to keep the dog cool! Another great thing about the pack is it makes the walk a little more difficult. So, if you are walking your dog for two 30 minute walks and he/she is still full of energy not getting the exercise he/or she needs, this is a great way to accomplish that!

Meatless Monday Sandwich Edition
Spicy Chicken Vegetarian Sandwich
Oil a pan, add chicken and wing sauce ( check for anchovies in ingredients for veg friendly)
vegenaise a roll add some fresh lettuce and tomato!
Yum.
Fresh fo' summer avo kale sandwhich
Slice up avocado and onion.
Dijon your bread with some olive tapenade.
Dress your kale.
Presto!
Phunky Pickle & Cheese Sandwich
Dave's Pickles make this!
Oil pan, saute onions, once sautéed, add pickles cook on low heat.
oil pan, slice bread, slice cheese ( I used goat & pepper jack), grill!
Add pickle and onions!

I am engaged.
Everyone's question: When , Where, What?
I have not been the the girl planning my wedding since I was little...
But, I do know that I want it to be special.
I came up with a idea about a year ago or so...
My thing is, I know a wedding only happens once... or that is intended.... should be the case.
Creating something special usually means a pretty penny needs to be put down...
I give huge kudos to the couples on the diy dime!
Because the average price I see for a wedding seems take away from what a wedding is a supposed to be.
It is about.... a moment, collaboration, celebrating love between two and the love between all. Families and friends joining as one.
I think for that to really happen I need to create that space- not find one that is fitting.
A blank canvas for me to make my own. First the backdrop- a space my fiance and I both find intriguing and one that I know is spectacular to both our families is the desert.
